A new chapter for the home
When two distinct worlds come together, something new can take shape.
Our latest collaboration with Pernille Døsvik began with a very personal place: her new cabin at Skeikampen. As the cabin took form, so did the collection. Pernille brought a clear vision for the atmosphere she wanted to create — natural materials, clean lines and a warm, relaxed expression — while Dale of Norway brought generations of craftsmanship, pattern traditions and expertise in knitwear.
The result is a limited-edition collection for the home, designed to feel equally at home in a mountain cabin or a contemporary interior. Timeless and versatile, the pieces are made to become part of the spaces we live in — and to evolve with them over time.
Where two design worlds meet
The collection takes its visual direction from Pernille’s own aesthetic, with geometric forms, clean lines and a muted colour palette inspired by the materials used throughout the cabin.
Traditional Welsh patterns became an important reference during the design process. Their strong geometric expression was softened by introducing the iconic Trondheim rose, bringing a distinctive Dale of Norway signature and a connection to Norwegian design heritage.
After exploring several colour combinations, the collection settled into a refined palette of steel blue and sand — understated tones that allow the patterns and craftsmanship to take centre stage.
Designed to live with you
A home is personal. Much like the clothes we choose to wear, the objects we surround ourselves with become part of how we express ourselves.
That idea became central to the collection. Several of the designs were developed to be reversible, creating two expressions within one piece and allowing them to change with the room, the season or simply your mood.
Behind the finished pieces are countless sketches, adjustments and technical decisions. The design notes show how proportions, colour combinations and pattern details were tested repeatedly before the final expression was found. And it is often these less visible details — the softness, the quality and the work of the technicians behind each product — that ultimately define the result.
Pernille Døsvik x Dale of Norway is a meeting of personal expression and Norwegian heritage — created for the home, and designed to stay there.
