Since 1879. Made to Last

Founded in the small village of Dale on Norway’s west coast, Dale of Norway has produced high-quality knitwear for 145 years, continuously, and with pride. We are one of the very few textile companies still producing in Norway. Several generations have worked side by side in our factory, and some of our team members represent the fifth generation of Dale employees.

Every piece of Dale knitwear carries with it the values of craftsmanship, continuity, and care. Our garments are made to be worn, loved, and passed on.

Our designs are inspired by traditional Norwegian patterns and shaped by nature. Each garment is created to last, timeless in style and durable in quality. Dale sweaters from decades ago are still in use today, lovingly worn and well cared for.
