A bold eight-petal rose is centered across the chest, intersected by a signature "Dale 1879" band, celebrating the brand's founding year and creating a distinctive Nordic look. Stripes along the shoulders and sleeves are finished with a smaller eight-petal rose at each cuff. The Nåle is a distinctly Norwegian knit — translating mountain heritage into a contemporary alpine expression.

Nåle (“the Needle” in English) is named after one of the three summits (2,310 m a.s.l.) of the Skarstind massif. The massif’s highest peak, Skarstind (2,373 m a.s.l.), is Norway’s fifth-highest mountain – and it also lends its name to other pieces in our collection.
