Nanes Polo Sweater - Merino wool

The Nanes Piquet is a lightweight, comfortable long sleeve piece with a regular fit and a luxurious rib-knit texture, knitted in skin-soft, extra-fine merino wool. Part of a project devoted to giving new life to leftover yarn, the piquet is finished with a button closure and a contrasting Dale of Norway logo, subtly knitted on the inside of the collar. With natural properties like breathability, temperature regulation, and odor resistance, this piquet offers comfortable wear on warm days.

Leonora – skin soft extra fine merino wool. As soft as cashmere, spun from premium extra-fine merino wool. By using only the finest yarns and combining them with our unique knitting techniques, we’ve reduced pilling to a level rarely seen in yarns this soft. Garments knitted with Leonora can be machine-washed on a wool cycle. (Fiber diameter: 19.5 micron).

Nanes is named after a smooth rock formation in the Hardangerfjord – bare, sloping, and perfect for summer swims. This bathing spot is a hidden gem, quietly embraced by the fjord landscape – tucked away, yet cherished by those who know it. A fitting name for a piquet knitted from leftover yarn.
